I met Mollie at my very first wedding a year and a half ago when she was the day-of coordinator. Her hubby happened to be her assistant, and let me tell you, it was adorable. I watched them work together the whole day, putting together all of the last-minute details. They did it so well! I even got to watch them get down on the dance floor following the wedding and it was amazing.
Over a year later, I finally got to connect with these two again for their vow renewal in this styled Lake Crescent elopement shoot! For most of the day, it had been decent weather, until we arrived at the lake. It started raining. It wasn’t just the drizzle-type of rain; no, this was the makes you want to turn around and go home kind of rain. BUT, it made for the moodiest lighting ever and was perfect for the vision of this shoot.
The lake, nestled between the mountains of Olympic National Park, was the perfect backdrop. It all came together so well thanks to the vendors, who are listed below.
But I was especially blown away by Mollie and Drew for being the most resilient models ever! Let me just say how COLD it was. I couldn’t even feel my toes. These two were not nearly as bundled up as I, but they never said a word. They went above and beyond as our models and I am beyond thankful for them!
The shoot ended with Mollie and Drew rereading vows to each other with their golden-doodle Gracie as witness. They were the cutest little family standing in the rain, in front of the most picturesque cabin. It was so sweet to witness their undying love for each other.
