Sunset Cliffs is one of the most popular elopement spots in San Diego. Once you see the area in person, it’s so easy to see why! The breeze is mild and the views are to die for. The color of the ocean on a sunny day is indescribable. The highlight of this day, though, was definitely this sweet couple! Kamelia and Faraz drove down to San Diego from Orange County for this Sunset Cliffs elopement. Kamelia is a photographer as well, and it was so nice to connect with both of them and hear about Kamelia’s journey as a photographer as well as all about this couple and their journey to marriage!
Kamelia’s dress is from Grace Loves Lace, an Australia-based bridal shop that hand-makes all of their dresses. The train on this gown was stunning, and Kamelia was an absolute goddess in it! Kamelia had her makeup done before the drive down to San Diego by Gia Amiri, a hair and makeup artist based in Laguna Beach. The look was effortless, really playing up Kamelia’s natural beauty and it fit so well with the free-spirited feel of the ocean! The bouquet was so colorful, and so different from anything I’ve seen before. I loved it so much! Alexandra at Flora & Fauna Flower Co put together these stunning florals. The colors went so well with the beachy vibe for a Sunset Cliffs elopement! If you’re in the San Diego area, you can’t pass up these flowers!
There are several spots to wander at Sunset Cliffs, and we went to nearly all of them to catch the sun as it went down! The beautiful arch formations made the perfect backdrop. Kamelia and Faraz were absolute naturals in front of the camera, and they were so easygoing and willing to try anything. This trip was so worth it to be able to capture them. (And don’t worry, I made sure to stop and get In N Out before my plane ride home to Seattle!)
