If you’re planning to get married in Washington, you simply can’t pass up the opportunity to check out these forest wedding venues!! The Pacific Northwest is the best place to have a wedding with magical, woodsy vibes. I’ve pulled together this list of my favorite forest venues in the state of Washington to make it easier for you to pick your dream venue! There are 7 on this list, but you can always reach out to me to talk through some more options.
First and foremost, I have to talk about Treehouse Point! Of all the forest wedding venues on this list, this is one of the coolest places to get married (in my opinion). You can have up to 80 guests here, stay overnight in an actual treehouse, and get married surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wind through the trees.
This venue is located in Issaquah, so you’ll be on the west side of the state surrounded by lots of greenery!
Treehouse Point is an LGBTQ+ friendly venue.
This venue is in Kenmore, Washington, right near Lake Washington in the Seattle metro area! But don’t worry, you won’t feel like you’re in the city at all. This is a venue I’d describe as full of historic charm!
You can actually hold your ceremony inside or outside, but I absolutely recommend an outdoor one. There’s a spot called The Grotto on the property, a magical garden space with lots of old pine trees!
You can have up to 140 guests depending on the exact ceremony location, and there’s a also an amazing spa on site.
This venue is LGBTQ+ friendly, according to Here Comes the Guide.
Next up is Woodland Meadow Farms, which is up in Snohomish. This venue is only open during the summer months, from June to September, but having a summer wedding here is going to absolutely dazzle. It’s a 50 acre farm with tons of trees (of course) as well as flower meadows, fruit fields, and more. The ceremony location with the wooden pergola is gorgeous, too!
You can have up to 250 guests at this spot. They also support marriage equality here!
Canlis might not fit the exact description of a forest wedding venue, but it is gorgeous! If you’re looking for modern and luxury, but still with those touches of a distinctly PNW-inspired celebration, Canlis is the place. It blends the woodsy vibes with the city feel perfectly!
The top-floor penthouse has amazing views of the Seattle skyline, and the Cascade mountains. There’s floor to ceiling glass windows so you can see it all! Your guest count can be between 60-100 here for a more intimate celebration.
Canlis is an LGBTQ+ friendly wedding venue.
I can’t make a list of the best forest wedding venues and not mention any in Leavenworth!! There are lots of options in the Leavenworth area, and this is just one. Mountain Springs Lodge is a gorgeous retreat from the hustle and bustle in the heart of the Cascade Mountains.
You can get married in any season here, and all I have to say is: sleigh rides at your winter wedding?! 😍
Guest capacity is between 175-400 here depending on exact location.
Ten minutes from Redmond, you’ll find another of the coolest forest wedding venues in the state! The Emerald Forest Theater is a unique feat of architecture — a “climb-in” theater! Seating is 15 feet above the ground, nestled among towering trees. The way the sun filters through at this venue is jaw-dropping. There’s also a honeymoon suite treehouse that’s super cute!!
You can have up to 35 guests here for a micro-wedding experience.
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly wedding venue.
Last up on the list of forest wedding venues in Washington is Fern Acres in Forks! Forks is the best little town for a getaway wedding. And, you know from the Twilight series, that Forks has the best forests! This is a true fairytale setting for the wedding or elopement of your dreams. The gardens are both Asian and English influenced, with a beautiful gazebo and rustic benches for your guests.
Even on rainy days, an outdoor wedding here would be simply amazing!!
And there you have it — 7 of the best forest wedding venues in Washington!! Of course, there are so, so many more amazing places with woodsy vibes in the state too, so if you’re looking for more options, let’s chat! Reach out to me here for wedding photography!
