Not to play favorites, but this session is one of my favorites to date! The light in this home, the decor, the plants, and of course Tiffany and Trenton getting cozy and cuddly made this super special and fun for me. We got to adventure into Mt. Rainier National Park too, which I always love! At home engagement photos are the perfect way to ease any nerves you may have about being in front of the camera. You’ll automatically feel more comfortable in a place that’s familiar to you!
Tiffany and Trenton even opened a bottle of wine in the kitchen, another trick I’ll always encourage to help you loosen up and have fun! You are always welcome to bring a bottle of your favorite alcoholic beverage to your session or take a shot beforehand, whatever it takes! I want you to feel as great as you look.
I took advantage of all the beautiful spots in their house before we headed out to Rainier, getting them cozied up on their bed, dancing to their favorite songs in the living room. They were such an easygoing, relaxed couple and I just loved getting to capture these moments in their home.
It’s not often you experience Rainier on a sunny day with full visibility of the mountain, so we were all so excited that we got lucky this day! All the fall colors were popping, since this was right before the winter snows hit. We wandered the trails at Paradise, just taking in the views and the plant life. Mt. Rainier has so much to offer aside from the mountain itself, but of course we had to take pictures with the mountain view, too!
After their final outfit change, Tiffany and Trenton and I found probably the best spot for photos in the whole place! We found ourselves on this amazing trail with the mountain dead center above us. The colors that day had me absolutely DYING. We had some fun running through the fields, and their joy and silliness really came through, along with more serious posed shots and some more dancing!
We finished our day with some photos at the Tatoosh Range, a different set of mountains within Mt. Rainier National Park. The super jagged look of this range is breathtaking, and all of Paradise is easy access for those who aren’t avid hikers! It allows you to experience Rainier’s full beauty but stay on the trails and be respectful of the land.
I am so looking forward to seeing this couple get married in July 2021! Reach out here for your own adventure elopement or intimate wedding, and to have me capture some at-home engagement photos of you and your love!
