Seattle has my heart for a million different reasons – the iconic city skyline, the waterfront scenery, the manyyyy delicious restaurants. . . I could go on and on. But one of my FAVORITE parts of living in the Seattle area is the insane access we have to some of the most beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest (Mt. Rainier, I’m looking at you)! This is why Seattle makes for such a phenomenal location to tie the knot, whether you’re looking to have an intimate celebration in the middle of a rainforest, a bougie reception at a 5-star restaurant in the city, or a little bit of both. Sooo I’ve put together this guide to the 15 best Seattle wedding venues to help you find the perfect spot for your dream day, with venues ranging from treehouses, to European-inspired manors, alllll the way to luxury ski resorts in the mountains & more!

A quick note: this list does include a variety of venues both right in Seattle & near the Seattle area, so a few of them do require a little more of a drive from the city! I’ll be sure to include where they’re located so you know exactly what & where you’re looking at 🙂

By the end of this guide you miiiight find yourself having a hard time choosing just one – so keep in mind that you can ALWAYS host a vow renewal or anniversary celebration at a different location later on if you just can’t pick 😉 Ready to fall in love with literally every single venue on this list?!

Top 15 Best Seattle Wedding Venues in 2023-2024

1. WithinSodo

Location: Sodo neighborhood

Guest capacity: 625 (450 downstairs, 175 upstairs)

WithinSodo is one of my all-time fave venues in Seattle, located in the heart of the charming Sodo neighborhood about 10 minutes south of downtown. Built from an existing industrial shop, the goal of WithinSodo was to create spaces that had room not only for beautiful design & aesthetics, but also for functionality – and that absolutely comes through as soon as you see the venue. With its wide variety of versatile, open spaces, WithinSodo is definitely one of the top places to get married if you’re looking for a venue that you can really customize to fit your unique day! Oh, and in total, the venue has space for 625 people on both floors – so you won’t have to worry one bit about having enough space to fit everyone, whether you’re having a small soirée with 20 of your closest friends or a rockin’ party with 300 of ‘em!

Here’s a quick glance at all the different spaces that WithinSodo has to offer:

  • Four flexible main rooms
  • 3000 square foot rooftop deck
  • Five bathrooms
  • Caterer’s kitchen
  • Three built-in bars

You heard me right – THREE bars, a.k.a. enough to keep your party going allll night, ALL throughout the venue! And did I mention the rooftop deck? I think I did, but I can’t stop drooling over it. It’s probably one of my favorite parts of the whole venue: perfect for a first look with the Seattle skyline in the background, or a cocktail hour under the setting sun!

2. The Manor House

Location: Bainbridge Island

Distance from Seattle: 1 hour

Guest capacity: 150

If you’d rather be a little further away from the noise of the city & celebrate at a breathtaking island mansion instead, The Manor House on Bainbridge Island is a dream come true! Located at Pleasant Beach Village, this 1920’s Tudor-style venue provides the perfect combination of gorgeous waterfront scenery, top-notch landscaping & greenery, and romantic spaces to host your celebration with up to 150 guests. I am in looove with the views you get of Puget Sound (they’re west-facing, meaning you get to see the sun set over the water!), and the way you get both the peacefulness of nature AND a luxurious venue to decorate as you please!

The Manor House offers a few different spaces to move through during your wedding day, each one unique and absolutely gorgeous in its own way:

  • The Solarium – a stunning space for your reception, with abundant natural light & terraces overlooking the water
  • The Library – an intimate, dimly-lit library perfect for a small dinner or cocktail hour
  • Outdoor patio – also great for cocktail hours

I’m still reeling over the Solarium and all the dreamy portraits I got to take when I shot a wedding at the Manor House recently (see a few below!)😍 If you get married at the Manor House, you’ll also get access to a huge collection of event rentals, furniture, linens, & glassware, as well as an in-house catering team that specializes in Italian-American cuisine. Yes please!!

It’s simply one of the dreamiest, most enchanting spots for a wedding in the PNW and literally has EVERYTHING you could dream up, whether you’re having a tiny wedding with 3 guests or a large celebration with 300! I’m a sucker for any type of wedding venue with a garden, but this one takes the cake: with beautifully-manicured gardens galore, lush foliage surrounding your every move, and endless spots to mingle with your loved ones, Rock Creek Gardens is the epitome of romance. It literally feels like you’re in your own little private fairytale, with the massive trees all around you and the dense forest creating such a quiet, intimate atmosphere!!

The MV Skansonia is a premier waterfront venue located right on Lake Union, with picturesque views of the city skyline, a large outdoor deck, and incredible farm-to-fork catering provided by Herban Feast. Did I mention it’s a BOAT?! Seriously, what a freaking cool and one-of-a-kind wedding venue! The upscale nautical theme and elegant environment create an unforgettable ambiance, both outdoors on the deck overlooking the water and inside for receptions. And because it is Seattle, and rain is to be expected throughout the majority of the year, it’s easy to move your ceremony inside onto the side of the boat with the cocktail area space + dance floor! If you want a truly unique venue that delivers the iconic Seattle experience out on the water, then the MV Skansonia is the place to be!

11. Treehouse Point

Location: Issaquah

Distance from Seattle: 30 minutes

Guest capacity: 80

I honestly cannot believe some of these venues are real, and that I live so dang CLOSE to them, just because of how absolutely gorgeous they are. This one sits near the top of that list of places that seem wayyy too dreamy to be real life: Treehouse Point in Issaquah! It is LITERALLY a venue full of luxury treehouses in the middle of the woods. Need I say more to convince you?? Oh, and it was also highlighted in that Treehouse Masters show on Animal Planet back in 2013!

Located just 30 minutes from Seattle along the Raging River, Treehouse Point offers lodging to the public as well as one of the most unique wedding & elopement venues in the state. It’s an actual fairytale come true, boasting a variety of upscale (and up high, lol) treehouses featuring modern amenities, rustic charm, and allll the cozy forest vibes. I adore this venue because not only is it SO PICTURESQUE and romantic, but also because it doubles as a place for you to stay – and a magical one at that!! Just imagine yourselves waking up the morning of your wedding in a treehouse and heading out onto your private deck to enjoy your coffee & breakfast, listening to the sounds of the forest and enjoying the peace and quiet that nature has to offer. Ummm sounds like my dream vacay!

12. Canlis

Location: Seattle waterfront

Guest capacity: 100

Canlis is a high-class restaurant on the Seattle waterfront that sits right atop Queen Anne hill, and is my top recommendation for weddings for couples who want exquisite dishes, gorgeous views, and an unparalleled dining experience in the city! You can host your wedding in the building’s Penthouse, which overlooks Lake Union and Gas Works Park (+ the views are absolutely phenomenal at night), which can accommodate a maximum of 50 guests for a seated dinner and ceremony. Or you can opt for the Executive Room, which boasts beautiful water & mountain views, and is perfect for an intimate seated dinner or cocktail hour of under 30 people! You’ll also have access to the roof and the wine cellar for portraits, as well as a private space called the Caché that can be reserved for the two of you when you need a little break from the party. Canlis is the dream venue for couples who want a taste of modern luxury, but also want little touches of quintessential PNW elements & woodsy vibes!

It’s one of THE coolest wedding venues in the state, boasting the dreamiest woodsy vibes and a cozy, luxurious treehouse retreat that can sleep up to four people. It even has a private hot tub, a whole living space, and a long suspension bridge to get there!!

Fun fact: the Emerald Forest is also home to the Emerald Forest Theater, which is an outdoor climb-in movie theater that was actually featured on Treehouse Masters, just like Treehouse Point was! The seating is located 15 feet above the ground, nestled among towering trees, so it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The Emerald Forest has a collection of spaces available to couples for micro-weddings and elopements, including the stage beneath the movie screen, a 24’ yurt and a tipi to get ready in, a firepit, a zipline, and even a honeymoon suite treehouse!
